We are looking for a highly qualified professional to fill the position of Project Manager to lead the development of an innovative manufacturing project from the approval phase to market launch, and to assume responsibility for the subsequent day-to-day management.
This unique opportunity involves the creation and operation of an industrial unit in the field of sustainable modular construction.
These will be your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Manage the development of a manufacturing project from the permitting phase through to the construction, installation and commissioning of the equipment;
- Manage the financial execution of the project;
- Managing the proposed budget and schedule for the various phases of the project and proposing corrective actions, if necessary;
- Select qualified human resources for the project (from back office to shop floor);
- Coordinate interactions with the various project stakeholders;
- Preparing the business plan;
- Prepare presentations and reports for consortium meetings, board meetings, PRR management entities;
- Define operational excellence strategies to drive the business forward;
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure process and cost optimization;
- Regularly evaluate the performance of the project operations to ensure compliance with the objectives set by management;
- Define quantitative and qualitative metrics to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of ongoing operations and identify areas for improvement.
Profile of the ideal candidate:
- Degree in mechanical, industrial, civil or similar engineering
- Complementary management education [Executive Education, P.G. or MBA];
- Experience in similar functions [project management; industrial management];
- Experience in managing EU funds [PT2020, PRR funds, others];
- Knowledge of the construction market and industry;
- Knowledge of "wood" as a raw material for construction;
- Relevant knowledge of optimization of production processes using methods such as Kaizen\ Lean Manufacturing;
- General knowledge of factory management: Production, Maintenance, Development, Logistics, Quality, etc;
- Experience in defining and controlling KPIs;
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a business development (360) mindset and problem solving orientation;
- Solid leadership, communication and team management skills;
- Advanced English language skills;
- Intermediate knowledge of Office tools (especially Excel);
- A love of technology that is easy to learn;
- Proactivity, critical thinking and willingness to grow;
- Ability to work in a team and in a highly dynamic environment.
