About the project

Libre House, designed by Mário Martins, exemplifies an impressive combination of lightness and precision, wherein architecture and landscape integrate into a cohesive and fluid composition. Characterized by its distinctively sharp roofline, the structure extends outward, producing a dramatic cantilever that enhances openness and shelter. The exposed concrete, natural wood, and expansive glass mirror the raw beauty of the surrounding environment, allowing the residence to coexist harmoniously with the coastal topography. Each element is distilled to its fundamental form, reinforcing a minimalist vision that emphasizes spatial purity and unobstructed vistas.

Central to this experience of transparency and continuity are the OTIIMA Plus windows, which eliminate physical boundaries through their floor-to-ceiling glazing. These ultra-slim profiles frame the infinite horizon while ensuring exceptional thermal and structural performance, thus addressing the region’s challenging climate conditions.
