Casa 1510, designed by Nordest Arquitectura, appears to float above the Spanish mountains, seamlessly integrating with the rugged landscape. The structure, primarily constructed of concrete and partially embedded within the earth, is complemented by locally sourced stone, strengthening the residence’s organic connection to its environment. Central to the design is a sheltered courtyard that serves as a private retreat, effectively blurring the distinction between interior and exterior spaces.
To further enhance this openness, OTIIMA’s minimal window systems provide uninterrupted views of the secluded garden and the distant sea. Featuring slim profiles and expansive glazing, these windows facilitate a flow of natural light throughout the space, reinforcing the home’s sense of weightlessness. Casa 1510 exemplifies a sophisticated balance between solidity and transparency, where architecture and landscape are harmoniously unified.
