About the project

In the shade of century-old trees, Banánka feels less like a construction and more like a natural extension of the landscape. Its star-shaped design preserves every trunk and stone, opening garden pockets that frame unique perspectives from within. Three wings converge into a central hub where living, dining, kitchen, and a wine cellar gather. Each wing carries its own purpose: arrival and service, guest and children’s quarters with a meditation room, and a private master retreat with wellness spaces, sauna, and a cooling pool fed by a nearby stream.

Authenticity defines the architecture, with stone, wood, and concrete blending seamlessly into the garden. Expansive OTIIMA glass walls erase boundaries, retracting in summer so that water, trees, and air permeate daily life.
